World Wrestling Entertainment star Darren Young made a pretty shocking admission in a delightfully ho-hum way during an impromptu interview at the baggage carousel of Los Angeles’s airport. When asked if an openly gay man could be a successful wrestler, Young chuckled and said, “Absolutely, look at me. I’m a WWE superstar and to be honest with you, I’ll tell you right now, I’m gay. And I’m happy.” WWE along with other wrestlers announced their support of Young in statements and on Twitter. The newly-out star tweeted: “Never b bullied n2 silence. Never allow yourself 2 be made a victim. Accept no ones definition of your life; DEFINE YOURSELF”.
