SPIELBERG DENIES BIN LADEN PROJECT: A spokesman for Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks said the famed director doesn’t have any plans to put a new account of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden on the screen. The New York Post had reported on Monday that the Indiana Jones director would be taking on the real-life story of heroism told in No Easy Day, an account penned by a former Navy SEAL of the Abbottabad, Pakistan, raid that killed the terrorist mastermind. At least two other films based on the raid are already in the works, though No Easy Day has drawn extra attention—and criticism—because the former Special Ops soldier who wrote it under a pseudonym actually participated in the raid.
