GAY SUICIDE STUDENT’S ROOMMATE CHARGED: Months after Tyler Clementi, a gay student at Rutgers, committed suicide, a grand jury has indicted his roommate for bias intimidation. Dharun Ravi, who has since withdrawn from Rutgers, used a webcam in the room to spy on Clementi during an intimate encounter. After Clementi, 18, learned he’d been spied on, he killed himself. Ravi also faces charges of invasion of privacy and witness and evidence tampering.
