It is ten years since our mother died, but her remarkable work, and her wonderful gift for touching the lives of so many people, live on.

母亲离开十年了，但是，她杰出的努力和她给许许多多人的生命带来福音的美好天赋，仍然留在人们的记忆里。

This concert is our way of remembering her the way we knew her – full of fun and laughter, and full of a love of life.

我们以今天举办音乐会的方式来纪念她，我们所了解的母亲就是这样的：永远快活、笑声朗朗，充满对生活的热爱。

Today is her birthday. It seemed the perfect day to ask people to come and help celebrate her memory, and we are so grateful to all those who have made this concert possible: the artists – her favourites and ours – who have so kindly and generously given up their time to perform; all those who have worked so hard to make this concert a success; and all of you, who have been kind enough to have bought tickets.

今天是她的生日，我们觉得，在这一天邀请大家来一起庆贺和纪念她是最合适不过的了。我们由衷地感谢那些帮助实现这个愿望的人们，感谢那些艺术家们，他们都是母亲最喜欢的，也是我们最喜欢的, 感谢他们贡献出自己宝贵的时间来到这里演出；感谢为了音乐会取得成功做了大量工作的人们；感谢你们所有买票来参加今天音乐会的人。

We know that if our mother was here today she ’d be over the moon about how many people have given up their time to remember her, and that she ’d be the first up out of her seat and dancing!
