位于东平湖东畔蚕尾山中段幽谷处，因“山岩多黄色，石道两侧，悬崖万仞”而得名。崖下原有古建筑群，石窟造像逼真生动，十八罗汉洞前有泉水泻出于罅岩之间，称“罗汉泉”，水清洌甘甜，常年不涸，注入泉池，流向山下，古诗赞曰：“半壁悬崖昭万古，一洼清泉映千秋”，形成道观、石雕、奇树、宝泉四大奇观。

    2011年8月23日下午，笔者到黄石悬崖风景区，正赶上影视剧组在此拍摄“四手妙弹”电视剧。
