Chapter 1  A Light in the Woods

A man with a red hat was looking for a book. His father was reading the book. If he didn’t find it the sun will die.

The man opened the door and walked quietly into the woods. Suddenly a tree began to move!

A light was on the tree. It was very scary. The tree made a trap with two ropes and hanged it over a tree.
The man came to a stop. Behind one rope was the book! He looked carefully and finally he found a secret. Those two ropes were the bad tree's hands!
Then he walked over the ropes hands to get the book.

Just then the bad tree saw the man with the red hat. The tree pulled his rope hands then the man with the red hat said "Ouch!" The rope hands tied his ankle really tight.

Chapter 2  The Escape

He reached into his pocket and took out a rope. The rope was as big as a tree.  The man with the red hat put the rope around the tree. He took his shirt and put it over the rope. Then he pulled the shirt.

The shirt shot out like a rock and fell down. The shirt hit right on the bad tree.

"Ouch" said the bad tree and he loosed his rope hands. The man with the red hat now was free. He saved himself.

Chapter 3  The mystery Book

He went into the bad tree's cave. He dug into the ground. There was a door. On the door was a sign. He read it aloud:
     Over the outer hill is the library
Then he went over the outer hill to a door. There was another sign. The sign said:
     Library
He opened the door. Then he saw lots and lots and lots of books. There was no sign of the book he need. He looked and looked. Suddenly he found another door hiding behind a book shelf.  There was a third sign:
    The Book Sale
He opened the door. Then there was the fourth door. This door did not have a sign. Then he opened the door. There were lots and lots of books. The he found the book he needed. He grabbed that book. He opened the book.
Inside the book was a blank. Suddenly, he remembered something. It was: the first book you see won’t be the real book. Then he ripped the book. He went to the fifth door. There was no sign on it either. He slowly opened the door. Then he saw lots of books. Finally he saw the mystery book.
The book was light as a feather. Then he went back the way he'd come in. Then when he began to shout: Turn all the trees back. A tree snapped his mouth. The tree said: Turn all the trees more powerful.
Just then a light flash shot out of the book. Then he saw all the trees have wings now. Just then the man with the red hat had the book and he shouted:  Return them back to trees.

 Another light shout out of the book. Then all the trees returned to normal. There wings were gone. Then he walked back into the warm house.
