Finally I got home after having traveled a half of month. I am not sure when I am going to write my essay about this trip, my 1st Eastern European journey.

For me, travel is a state of mind and a special being of life. It really opens and expends my version of this world.  It is the reality that is so new and so fresh. During this trip, I have overcome many difficulties including the language. Many Hungarians do not speak English at all. One day, I had to change the trains four times by finger-pointed a map and a list of names of train stations to ask the strangers, as I wanted to go to the largest thermal lake in Europe (the 2nd largest in the world).  I felt so good when I was swimming there.

I have found another kind of travel ----- reading English novels. I took John Irving’s A Widow for One Year with me during this trip. I read it whenever I had nothing to do or waited for the train. I enjoyed it very much, which is quite different from reading Chinese novels. It gave me a sense of travel in the imaginations and creations that are also fresh and new.  One thing I am sure is that I am going to read more and more English novels.
