在这首歌曲获得第82届奥斯卡最佳电影歌曲奖的那个中午，我开始看这部电影。如果你喜欢美国乡村音乐，也可以将这一部文艺片看作是音乐片，因为，那里面有太多好听的乡村歌曲。
我承认，虽然我一贯标榜自己的音乐听力很杂，但对于一把吉他与磁性嗓音所配合的乡村音乐，我一直缺乏抵抗力。或许，因为我最早接触的欧美歌曲就是这类，又或许因为这样的旋律与我的性格有某种契合。管它呢，有好音乐就成。
隐约记得有评论说过，乡村音乐不可多听，因为它容易使人抑郁。可能吧，因为在这样的歌曲中总有着一种淡淡的忧伤与寂寞。突然，我想到一些博友对于蒙古族歌曲的评说，为什么它们总带着一种忧伤的情感。此时，我发觉两者有着某种共通之处，所谓的忧伤其实是一种放慢生活节奏后的感觉，当你站在草原上或行走在荒野中，忧伤与寂寞难免会有，但内心肯定还会有一种释放自我的自由在无羁地延展。
