进入地铁站时，人们要乘浮梯入地很深，突然会变的很冷，有种入地狱的感觉。为了让旅客忘掉他们是在地下旅行，地铁站通常设计得干净而具有现代感，但瑞典斯德哥尔摩地铁却不是这样，致力于提高生活品质的瑞典人，把地下铁建造成一条艺术长廊，总长108公里，每一站都是精心设计的艺术品。

　斯德哥尔摩的地铁可以说是世界上最长的艺术博物馆，被誉称为“世界最长的地下艺术长廊”。斯德哥尔摩的地铁修建于上世纪四十年代，当时人们构思着如何去装饰每个地铁站，后来决定让一百多位艺术家分别用自己的风格和艺术构思来装点一个站台。

　　斯德哥尔摩地铁的几个站是在岩石中凿开出来的，留有洞穴状的“天花板”。它是古代和未来的结合。洞穴绘画是其点睛之笔。在其100个地铁车站中，有一半以上装饰着不同的艺术品，它们表现着不同的主题，给斯德哥尔摩地铁增添了生机勃勃的活力和憧憬。
