96岁的西班牙老奶奶玛丽亚被誉为“全世界年事最高的博主”。她从网盲到网络名人。这个老奶奶说：“起初，我以为博客是文书的一种形式，当我看见我孙子上网时，吸引了我的注意力，我对自己说我也要上网。”

    玛丽亚的博客中写满了回忆录，现在已经拥有了6万个读者常客，而且还在持续不断地吸引世界各地的读者。博客以一种她做梦也没有想到的形式与年轻一代联系起来。

她称自己是世界上最老的博客撰写者。虽然通过Google搜索发现有几个想拥有这个头衔的人，其中包括108岁的澳大利亚人Olive Riley.

   然而，由于年迈视力不太好，玛丽亚就让她孙子来帮忙。西班牙首相曾写信祝贺她的博客，玛丽亚也向其他老年人推荐开始写博客。

    One of the world’s oldest web bloggers, Maria Amelia Lopez,96, has changed from web illiterate to cybercelebrity.

   “At first I thought a blog was just a type of paper notebook,’ said Lopez, a great grandmother.” When I saw my grandson using the internet, it caught my attention. I said to myself I want the internet!”

    With 60,000regular readers so far, Lopez’s blog is full of memories and it continues to attract readers from around the world. It has put her in touch with the younger generation in a way she had never imagined.

    Lopez has called herself “the world’s oldest blogger”, although a quick Google search reveals several pretenders to the title, including 108-year-old Australian Oliver Riley.

    However, as she can’t see the screen well, Lopez is assisted in her blogging by her grandson.

    Spain’s Prime Minister has written to congratulate Lopez on her blog and she recommends other seniors to take up blogging.
