Wyoming(96%), Idaho(1%),
Montona(3%) 三个州.
YellowStone River, Madison River, Galletin River ( 它们汇入密苏里河), Snake
River(是流入太平洋的 Columbia River 的源头)。还有Yellowstone
(Grizzy
Bison,Elk
F.V.Hayden, Thomas Moran, William Henry
Jackson.
1871, Geologiest F.V.Hayden led a team to explore the west
area, which was called 1872 Hayden geological survery. In this team
there were two important artist: sketcher Thomas Moran and
photographer William Henrry Jackson. During
forty days in the wilderness area, Moran visually documented over
30 different sites and produced a diary of the expedition's
progress and daily activities. His sketches, along with photographs
produced by survey member William
Henry Jackson, captured the nation's attention and helped
inspire Congress to establish Yellow Stone
National Park in 1872.
