33.By Air

    I used to travel by air a great deal when I was a boy,My parents used to live in South America and I used to fly there from Europe in the holidays. An air-hostess would take charge of me and I never hade an unpleasant experience.I am used to travelling by air and only on one occasion have I ever felt frightened. After taking off, we were flying low over the city and slowly gaining heeght, when the plane suddenly turned round and flew back to the airport. while we were waiting to land, an air-hostess told us to keep calm and to get off the plane quietly as soon as it had touched down. Everyboody on board was worried and we were curious to find out what had happend. later we learnt that there was a very important person on board. the police had been told that a bomb had been planted on the plane. After we had landed the plane was searched thoroughly. Fortunately, nothing was found and five hours later we were able to take off again.

                 33. 乘坐飞机

    当我是个孩子时 我常坐飞机。我父母那时住在南美，我常在假日从欧洲飞到他们那儿，一个飞上的女服务员照顾我， 我从来也没有过什麽不愉快的经历。

    我对于乘飞机旅行习惯下来。就是有一次我可吓坏了，在起飞后我们正低飞过市区逐渐慢慢上升时，飞机突然转身飞回了飞机场。

    当我们正等待着陆时，一个女服务员让我们保持镇静，等飞机着陆了，悄悄地走下飞机，飞机上的每个人都担心，不知发生了什麽事。

    后来才知道，飞机上有位十分重要的人物，有人告知警察飞机内已放置一枚炸弹。当我们着陆后，在飞机里做了大检查。辛亏，什麽也没发现。五小时后我们又起飞了。
