    今天的六级考试再次考查了论说文写作，难度不是很大。只要大家考前认真准备，应该可以轻松搞定。

    继去年12月老六级写作的“西方节日”与新六级写作的“阅读经典”之后，这次六级写作再次抛弃了所谓的热门话题，考查了一个老掉牙的话题：做好事是否应该期望回报。这提醒广大考生准备考试需要扎扎实实提高语言实力，切忌存有押题的侥幸心理。

    六级考试一般都是三点提纲，应该严格按照提纲写成三段，每点提纲展开后各写一段，顺序最好不要打乱。今年第一段是反方观点，第二段是正方观点，最后一段是我的观点。前两段是观点陈述段，陈述了两个对立的观点；最后一段进行归纳结论。

    自2003年6月至今四年来，共有11次六级考试，其中3次考查应用文（04年6月投诉信、05年1月建议信、05年12月拒绝信）；8次论说文。论说文中又3次考查图表作文（03年6月住房产权、03年9月读书、06年6月出境旅游），5次考查提纲作文（03年12月浪费现象、05年6月盗版现象、06年12月老六级西方节日、06年12月新六级阅读经典、07年6月回报问题）。

    值得注意的是，今年的六级写作提纲与近年不同。最近四年的提纲作文第一段多是现象说明，第二段原因列举，第三段建议措施或利弊说明。而今天的考题提纲再次回归传统的正反对比＋归纳结论，与06年12月新四级的提纲完全一致。这说明六级写作出题日渐灵活，开始出现反模板化的倾向，单纯使用模板写作得分会越来越低。考生需要脚踏实地提高写作水平。每点提纲应该给出具体原因或举例论证，切忌泛泛而谈。

Should One Expect a Reward When Doing a Good Deed?

    A great many people presume upon a reward when doing a good deed. First and foremost, there is a natural tendency to equate doing good deeds with a certain amount of reward, and reward with a certain amount of money. What is more, they maintain that since the basis of contemporary society is money, one of the major means of earning money is getting reward by doing good deeds.

    On the contrary, the vast majority of people assume that doing a good deed should be based on people’s personal consciousness. Hence, doing a good deed is fulfilling itself and reward is of minimal significance. Numerous examples can be given, but this will suffice. Mr. Leifeng lived a simple life dedicated to doing good deeds without expecting any reward and helping people from all walks of life, yet he was remembered as one of the most successful hero of our time.

    Generally speaking, it is my view that we should not expect a reward when doing a good deed. We do this for enjoyment, self-fulfillment and spiritual enhancement, not for the purpose of reward.
