Back in December 2014, DLG Intelligence forecasted +4% organic
sales growth for Kering’s luxury division for Q4 2014. On February
17th, Kering announced an organic growth rate of +4.3% for its
luxury division for that same quarter. This corroborates the
accuracy of DLG Intelligence’s Luxury Demand indicator.
Since luxury consumers search online before purchasing, DLG
Intelligence has found a strong and significant correlation between
those searches and actual purchases 1 to 3 months thereafter.
Luxury Demand is based on 7.5million daily online searches made
worldwide for luxury products.
Luxury Demand is a subscription based service that is used in order
to forecast the evolution of sales.
