Q: Let's talk about your recent performances first, which is really amazing and

impressive, are you surprised by that yourself?

A: Yes, of course, even to myself. I’m really surprised by the improvement of my game and performances I had recently. I’m really happy about that, but I have to work hard, hope can do even better in the future.

Q: Now you are one of the Top 10 players in the world now, can we say it's a milestone in your career by far?

A: Yeah,I think so, it’s really important to me, to be one of the Top 10.

Q: Is there any change in your life since then? Not only incourt,butoff court as well?

A: No, I’m still me, nothing different compared to previous life. Three months ago, I managed to have some great performances, won my fist career title, and gained a car as bonus reward. But all of these didn't change me and my life.Now,I'm still a quiet guy, being nice to everybody, those are the good qualities I think a good person should have.

Q: Now you are in a very good position to qualify for Masters-Cup in Shanghai,if so, could you share with us your expectation to play there?

A: If I can qualify, it would be perfect for me, definitely a very big highlight in my career. But I still need to work hard to earn it, I guess there are 6 people to fight for 2 remaining spots. I’m trying not to always think about Shanghai right now, but stick to play my every match here, then make sure I can qualify.

Q: There was another big event in china this year, which is the Olympics. You didn't play there because of the lower rank at that moment, do you feel regret about it?

A: No, not all. I was playing the US open Series all the time, and I had several big wins. As for the Olympics, I’m still young, and I can play it 4 years later.

Q: So, Masters-Cup would be your first trip to China?

A: Yes, never been to there before.

Q: What's your impression about China?

A: Although I've never been to there, I know China is a great country with colorful history.

Q: You need to know this as well, you had a lot of fans in China now.

A: Really?

Q: Yes.

Q: After the Masters-cup, there is the Davis Cup final, could you talk about it? You may face Nadal in singles.

A: Well,Nadal,Ferrer,they are both very great players, and the Spanish Team is very strong with them, but we will try everything we can do to win.

Q: Do you mind to tell, compared with Nadal and Federer,is there something you need to improve in your game?

A: Rafa and Roger,they are definitely standing a higher level than others right now, they are great players. For now, I could see myself a bit far behind them, but who knows, maybe someday I can stand by them, of course, I need to work hard on it.

Q: No matter what, you really improved a lot in this season, is there some part of your game you think you can do even better?

A: My serve, I need to work on it, it needs to be more aggressive, and my backhand as well.

Q: You had a new coach at the beginning of the season, then you made a big breakthrough, is he the one who helped you the most?

A: Yes, he taught me a lot, we tried some new staff, and I really improved a lot. If I'm in a tough position, he will figure something out to help me regain my confidence, which is really important to me.

Q: As for confidence, it seems that since you won your first title, it has become a big part of your game to win more.

A: Definitely. It’s totally different since I won Stuttgart.Now,confidence is very important to me. I felt better and better since my first win, and the confidence got higher then, especially when I play against a higher ranking player, it’s a key factor for you to hang in there in the match.

Q: You said two big goals of your career are being No.1 and winning Grand Slams, will you be the next Grand Slam champion from Agentina?And when?

A: I don't know, it has always been my lifetime goal.when?I hope it will come true in 2 years.

Q: Favorite Grand Slam to win?

A: USopen, it’s always my favorite one.
