2009年12月30至31日，纪念中央芭蕾舞团建团50周年大型庆典晚会在天桥剧场隆重上演，有关领导、各界代表以及众多中芭元老等出席活动现场。演出涵盖了自中芭建团以来的多部中外经典芭蕾舞剧片段，并邀请到国际芭蕾明星加盟助阵，受到国内外各界的广泛关注和赞誉。

On December 30 and31, 2009, Ballet Gala in memory of the 50th Anniversary of the National Ballet of China were performed in Tianqiao Theatre. Leaders from the government, representitives from various sectors and founding members of the Company attended the event. The Ballet Gala covered several repertoire of Chinese and western classical ballets. Some international ballet stars were also invited.
