十二月十五日、來復四

〖記事〗今日，症狀又較昨日爲輕，雖困倦，亦強過昨日。測抗原，已轉陰。但晚間家父高燒，39度。求主赦免余等罪債，不令處於苦痛之中，但恩賜以幸福的生活，蓋主底恩典是無限豐盛的，愛世人而不願一個沉淪，願誠如是。又，思考「心靈三一」。

〖讀書〗讀《寬容底不寬容》。區分新寬容觀、舊寬容觀。「寬容」是忍受令你不悅之事物，故不是對之漠然，亦不是粗枝大葉地讚美。須在不悅的事物出現時，放棄使用強制力。忍耐他人底行爲，亦可試圖改變他人底思想，但要靠理性的說服方式或情感的感染力，而非威脅或洗腦。我們可以認爲宗教信仰是非常嚴肅的事，相信自己所信底絕對正確，他人所信底極其錯誤，但仍寬容他們宣傳這些錯誤。（極注意！寬容，是不強制，而非遷就。）又，對「寬容」底理解，與對「自然法」或「公共道德法」底理解相關。基督教底希臘—羅馬世界，都接受了「自然法」理論，一種對道德秩序底觀點，以對人性及人性通過理性帶出底行爲底考察爲基礎。這在基督教傳統中被繼承下來，倫理結構在任何文化中都尋求「共同的善」。（自然法、共同的善。）「寬容」是對「共同的善」底訴求，故是美德，若不顧「共同的善」，將「寬容」剝離其倫理視野，放入個人自由底觀念中，則「寬容」是怪獸。歷史上，寬容觀與一些有共同的道德觀合良心觀底社會緊密相連。而今天，則多與個人自由相連。此被強化底、准許底個人自由所生出之公共政策，不會爲共同的善而保護少數，相反，它鼓勵權力底集中，培養對價值底淡漠，而唯一追去「寬容」本身。（極注意！獨走的寬容。此種剝離名法而來之道德，即是渾化，亦即中國化、儒法道化。又可知，不以最高善爲路向之道德，皆係僞道德。應追求善本身，即神本身，而非任何其他事物之本身。）

〖隨感〗

一、余底術語，「性三分」猶言「心靈三一」，「神三分」或「三分一貫」猶言「諸聖相通」。余舊無關於神本身(Dienkéui)之覺悟，即無有「聖三」或「三位一體」。
