911成长历程：

   911乐队的三位成员分别是Jimmy Constable，Spike Dawbarn和Lee Brennan。从孩提时代起，Spike便沉湎与迪厅和街头舞蹈中，他还曾是一所艺校的学生。17岁时他遇到了Jimmy，两人很快成为好朋友，并组成了舞蹈拍挡。两个人琢磨着想成立一支乐队，再找一个搭档成了一个棘手的问题。恰巧，一次演出后遇上了Lee，两人发现Lee正是他们想要找的第三个人，三人一拍即合，一支日后风行英国的组合，便在不经意中组成了。那么，他们为何为自己起了“911”这个名字？Jimmy解释说：“我们想起个与众不同的名字，这个名字最好是数字，便于记忆。”就这样，在美国人人皆知的报警电话“911”便被他们移花接木到了自己身上。
   刚开始，他们不懈地努力，但并没有得到唱片公司的认可，于是三人决定自己发行他们的两首单曲来证明唱片公司的错误。“A NIGHT TO REMEMBER”（那夜）和“LOVE SENSATION”（爱的感觉）双双打入英国流行榜前40名。这次轮到唱片公司之间的相互“争斗”。最后，911在LEE 21岁生日那天与VIRGIN唱片签约。接着，连续5首歌曲进入流行榜，但他们想证明他们不止在英国可以取得这样的成绩，在马来西亚他们同样势不可挡，即使那时他们从未到过这个国家。他们的唱片向MICHAEL JACKSON和THE SPICE GIRL的一样很快就销售一空！从那时起，小伙子们继续在英国歌坛独占鳌头，同时也成为东南亚歌坛最重要的演唱组合之一。要保持这些成功似乎很困难。但事实证明，只要911愿意成功一定在握。“谁都知道我们成功了，”24岁的SPIKE说，“这个时候，我无需多说，但我们靠自己取得了令人惊讶的成绩！明年我们将全力以赴！”。他们已有10首英国流行榜前10名的单曲，其中包括他们第一首世界发行超百万的冠军歌曲，这首歌曲也是他们两次成功的英国巡演的主打歌曲，并在东南亚六次获得白金销量。他们就是911—英国最令人激动，最成功的男生流行演唱组！虽然有如此令人不可思议的成功，911并不会沉迷于其中。在他们的新经纪人的帮助下，LEE BRDNNON，SPIKE DAWBARN和JIMMY CONTABLE正期待着他们的表演生涯中最令人兴奋，最具挑战性的时刻。
