Prof. David Zweig, Director of Center on
Environment, Energy and Resource Policy, HKUST, who will speak
on
“Bringing the Party Back In: The CCP Leads China’s Search for
Talent”;
Dr. Henry Huiyao Wang, Director General of
Center for China and
Globalization, senior research fellow, harvard kennedy school, and
Deputy
Chairman, Western Returned Scholars Association, author of
National
Strategy-Talents Change World, who will speak on "China's New
Talent
Policy, Objectives and Opportunities";
Prof. Denis Fred Simon, Vice Provost for
International Affairs, Office of
International Affairs, University of Oregon, author of China's
Emerging
Technological Edge, who will speak on "Foreign R&D
and the Impact on
China's Talent Situation",
Prof. Hugh Lauder, Professor of Education and
Political Economy,
Department of Education, University of Bath,
Prof. Gerry Postiglione, Head of Division of
Policy, Administration and
Social Science, The University of Hong Kong, will comment on
the
presentations.
