在美国，有大量的中美医疗和医药方面的华裔人才，我有机会亲自目睹和参与他们的活动，印象深刻。十月十五日，在波斯顿参加了中美华人医疗交流协会举办的年会“2011 医药前沿”。中美华人医疗交流协会是波士顿地区活跃的华人社团，常举办活动出版相关刊物，网站也办的有声有色。因为紧邻哈佛大学医学院、麻省总医院等医疗科研机构波士顿地区集中了大量的华人生物医学的高端人才。仅哈佛大学医学院就有两千左右的华人学生学者，所以波士顿地区也是中美医药交流的重镇。本次会议邀请了波士顿和全美其他地区的医药医疗方面的人士参加，我也应邀参与年会并做了关于中国海外人才研究和国家人才规划纲要的报告，引起与会学者和专家的很多兴趣。
