英国杜伦大学成立于1832年。杜伦大学是一所由12个学院和2个社团组成的联合大学。是英格兰最早创立的第三所大学（1832年创建）。杜伦大学的教育与科研历史可以追溯到600多年前，它属于英格兰最早开设的一批大学，是仅次于牛津大学和剑桥大学的英格兰第三古老的大学。据《泰晤士大学指南》报道：“长久以来，作为牛津大学和剑桥大学之外最好的选择，杜伦大学吸引了“大量来自中产阶级和更富有家庭的学生。” 这次杜伦大学和欧洲金融期刊联合举办了有关中国金融市场的研讨会，来做世界各地60多位学者和专家参加这次的研讨会。
