I am going to coordinate a seminar this Saturday. It is a new exciting event of the Business Discussion Series of the Chinese Association of Future Entrepreneurs that I am organizing.

Janet Fan, an experienced project manager of a consulting firm in Michigan, will give a presentation followed by discussion.

 

This event has been planned for a long time by Janet and me, back from late March. Janet came back from her China trip in June for an outsourcing project. I am happy to see we finally got the opportunity to share her experience on topics of project leadership, etc.

 

Title: Management vs. Leadership - How to be a good project leader

Purpose:
Management skills may not present the good sense of the leadership. Sometimes you are a daily Manager or managing this or that but not leading the project.  This session is to share the experience on project leadership in the global manufacturing industry and encourage the leadership sense for the young future professionals.

3. "How to develop your own career path as a young professional?"

Speaker's Bio (in Chinese):
江苏人, 密西根大学校友. 1996年加入通用中国上海合资项目规划小组, 曾担任上海通用发动机厂厂长助理, 项目经理, 发动机系统工程师, 整车集成工程师等. 参与上海通用发动机变速箱厂全程规划和建立. 目前在一家北美咨询公司担任中国项目部经理, 在底特律中国人协会担任中美商务主任.
