来自纽约“羽西看世界”剧组的好消息！

又有一些跟婚姻有关的消息想跟大家分享一下了。但是呢,这次的消息却绝对是一个很好的消息。
“羽西看世界”的其中一个制作人范敏在上星期刚结婚,所以我特意在星期六为她和她的新婚丈夫Tom在我家里举行了一个午餐派对。
虽然敏的家人都不在纽约,不能跟我们分享这个快乐的日子。但我想,我们也算是一个大家庭吧!当然,Tom就是我们这个大家庭的最新一位成员了!

这是我第一次和这位美国男孩见面,我感觉到他是个很sweet又健谈的人。虽然他比敏年轻几年,但我认为他是个挺成熟的人。总之呢,看到他们这样恩爱,我也替他们非常开心。

说到婚姻和年龄,我们最常见到的,好像都是男的比女的大几年的夫妻吧!所以,如果是女的比男的大,或者是男的比女的大很多的婚姻, 在人们的眼里可能会觉得有些奇怪。我的观察大家认同吗?大家又认为婚姻和年龄有关系吗?我想听听大家的意见。
敏的很多朋友都来了这次的party,我想这样应该会让她有些在家的感觉吧!她的那些朋友大都是她大学的同学, 而且基本上全都是中国人。这真是叫我很惊讶呢!因为我从来没想过 Syracuse University 会有这么多的中国留学生!
在party上，我念了一篇非常感人的结婚祷文，现在跟大家分享一下吧。
Wedding Prayer
Creator,
We ask that they be shelter for each other
now
And in all times to come.
Let them be each other’s warmth and
Safety on the journey we call life.
Le them be one body, where they are now
two.
Not out of lack of wholeness
But rather bringing together two
Complete beings who can be
Something larger, grander, stronger
In the safety of each other’s spirits.

With the magnitude of their love.
Let their union bear fruit.
Not only in new lives, should
Any choose them as their Gateway to the
Earth,
But knowledge, wisdom, service,
So that because these two are one

Be multiplied and strengthened
By whatever life gathers in for them
From the dancing mind of God.
Let them find in each other the truth,
