There used to be a fisherman who was
fishing with his fishnet in a river. He put his fishnet across the
riverway and then flapped(slapped) the river water a rope. The rope
was attached with a stone at the end in the water. The sediment was
stirred up and the water got muddy, so the fish confusedly hurled
themself willingly into the net one after another. The fisherman
got so much fish in this way. However, the nearby inhabitants
rebuked the fisherman:" We rely on the river for fresh
drinking-water, and how can you make the water so muddy and where
else can we get the clean water to drink?" The fisherman said
helplessly:"But if I don't stir the water I would not get the fish
and would be starved to death.
