I attended 2005 Hongkong 3G world congress from Nov.15 to Nov.18, which also gave me a great chance to experence Hongkong for the third time.

Fortunately our flights are very punctual, my CA membership card can also accumulate more than 5000 km mileages. I would become its silver card member! We lived the exceller hotel near causeway downtown. I was shocked by the services of Hongkong’s hotels. For instance, the non-smoking rooms are not available when we arrived. The hotel provided us a delicious buffer dinner for free to express their apologies. When I got into our own room, we were surprised in finding be given a bottle of red wind as the gift. What professional they are in customer services!

The audiences joining 3G world congress were not so many, but the exhibitors told us the audiences were all very professional. The hot topics in that congress were: HSDPA, CDMA EV-DO rev. A, WiMAX, convergence, and so on. I wrote a series of articles about that congress at night in Nov.16.

On Nov.17 we went to stars avenue, there are many stars’ palm print and simple description. I was touched by the high efficiency of Hongkong’s metro. People can buy the tickets by auto tickets sellers, and it’s very easy to find the correct line according to the directions. The traffic systems are also very effective because most of the roads are one-way. I think Beijing should learn more from Hongkong, not only in the road systems, but also in the city utilities.

At night we went to Taiping mountain, that’s a nice place to watch the night view of Hongkong. But for the shortage of sleep, we are so weak that little excise make us huffing and puffing. When we got to the peak of Taiping mountain, we all became sweaty. The skyscrapers are all shiny and beautiful by their lights. What exited scenery they are! We took the cable tram to go down the mountain. It’s a nice day!

However, I caught many tasks of buying cosmetics in Sasa stores. Sasa was just in the basement in 1980s, but it achieve the successes because it had the lowest of the makeup. I purchased many cosmetics for other people and myself. So, the keywords of this Hongkong trip maybe: 3G, cable tram and Sasa.
