The story reminds me to be optimistic about whatever bad things and I’m really inspired. I can still remember there was a time when I performed badly in a singing competition. Nervous and scared, I almost fainted in the center of the stage. Then came the worst thing, at the mercy of my nerve, the lyrics slipped away from my mind like water. There was a silence, my whole body trembled and all I wanted to do was to run way. But still, I kept the state to the end. A huge feeling of shame flooded me and made me want to hide myself in an odd corner. Anyhow, I tried turning everything good.

   Over time, the feeling walked away and I’m conscious again. Why do I have to care all that stuff? And I’m telling myself: Be positive because it didn’t mean a thing. Brace yourself for the next shock! And I’m ready to handle the pressure of study. One thing is: Keep going.

For the people in trouble, a helping hand is always a flash of hope from the heaven. We share our strength, not only because we want to, but because we are the ones with these sacred missions. When it comes to my experience, I’ll say I was once such a weak girl that I couldn’t even talk to people. I was always alone in school, in the streets or even at home. The world kept turning as loneliness became some kind of friend of mine. It was just as if I lived with darkness around me till a girl appeared in front of me. She wasn’t like anyone else ignoring me but accompanied me and told me her little secrets. With her encouragement, I could finally talk to people, smile at people and even play jokes on them. I felt it good to live a life out of my dark space. I have been grateful to her, my best friends, Carrie. She is of great significance to me. I learned a lesson that helping others is a great thing.

      So, why not stretch out your helping hands to others? It may not mean much to you, but it means everything to those in need.
