As part of his function as embassador for the 'SOS Kinder-Dorf' childrens charity, VfB keeper Timo Hildebrand invited fifty youngsters to a pre-Christmas spagetti meal. "I'm deligted that on one evening we had time to get together and chat. At the Stuttgart restaurant "Amici", Hildebrand dished up spagetti, ice-cream and cake. The German international took plaenty of time, working as waiter, to talk to his guests and answer their questions - the idea was all Timo's: "I just wanted to take time for the kids away from the football pitch", admitted the keeper. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids with clowns and 'Fritzle' the VfB mascot also on hand to boost spirits.
