When all villagers are in good mood, talking and laughing
gathered round in their own yard or at some place of the village,
covered by the moonlight which should be such a wonderful thing.
But at this night, it seemed not that wonderful as their
expectation.
With the time passed, the mirror-liked moon crawled to the
sky. Many parents urged their kids to go home then moved quickly to
the house either for the cold wind blown frequently which made them
felt cold and uncomfortable. A few times later, there were only a
few villagers who failed behind were aimless joking to each
other.
‘Awooooow.’ A sound of wolf’s howling which is absolutely
terrified came out from the woods. Accompanying with the howling,
it seemed that the moonlight became miserable cold, no more give
sedateness to these human.
‘Wolf… Is, is there a wolf?’ A young man said almost
trembling. He who was joking with others in the trail was so
frighten that his face turned green.
‘I’ve never heard of that here comes a wolf in Little
Hangleron.’ Another young man who was backing forward said.
“是里德尔府后面的树林里传出来的吧!”一个愤怒的声音轻轻地说,生怕会把狼招来。
寒风似乎把狼的脚步声吹近了。三个人撒腿就往家里跑,慌乱中,却不能借着明亮又冰冷的月光看清路,与迎面来的一个穿黑色大衣,或者是长袍的人撞上了。
‘It should be from the woods behind the Riddle House.’ An
angry voice said lightly, as if a louder voice would attract the
wolf.
‘We’d better go… go home now.’ The first guy nearly can’t
stand.
It seemed that the cold wind blown the footsteps of the wolf
nearer. The three men made a bolt to their own houses. In the
fluster, one of them knocked into an oncoming man in black coat or
long gown, for he can’t see the way clearly by the bright and
ice-cold moonlight.
‘I’m so sorry, sir. But I guess that you…’ the second guy apologized breathlessness. ‘That you don’t know there… there is a wolf in the fore woods. Run, sir!’ As soon as he finished, he nipped off to catch up the companions who have already run far away from here. In the fluster, he hasn’t caught the appearance of that man he knocked into, only known that his greasy hair parted in curtains around his face.
‘Awooooow.’ A sound of wolf’s howling was brought here by
the cold wind. The ice-cold moonlight was singing to the wolf’s
howling and that stopped the man in black long gown. He looked up
the round-mirror-liked moon which is hanging in the sky and emitted
a hum with a scornful sound. When he raised his head up, the bright
moonlight illumined his face clearly – above the large hooknose
there was a pair of unfathomable cold dark eyes and the brow seemed
never been smoothed out, the thin lips under his nose pursed up
tightly, harsh skin on his face aged him looked at least ten years
older than he actually was. His hand went to the long gown and took
out his weapon – a dark silver wand, and then vanished from the
trail with a pop.
‘Awooooow.’ The howl seemed quicker than before, and that
curdled the blood of those people who heard it.

Chap3.

Snape has reached a broken house with the werewolf who was
following him before the sun shown his whole face up. The stone
walls were overgrown with lichen which seemed covered the whole
building. A hidden door which Lupin hasn’t discovered was pushed
open by Snape, then he motioned him to go in. ‘Enjail me? ’ Lupin
asked calmly and gave the gown a jerk.
‘I don’t have that time to enjail you and feed you!’ Snape stared at this meanly dressed wizard bitingly then said, ‘Enter, if you still want to sweat your guts out for that dead geezer!’
Lupin paused, didn’t move. Blinking his eyes, he stared at Snape’s. But he wasn’t very good at legilimency especially used to a highly occlumencier.
‘I told you to go in or no one will pick up your dead body if you die outside.’ Snape jerked his lips.
Casting his eyes, looking at that hidden door, shabby Lupin bent down, went into it.
The cell didn’t look extremely terrible. At least, the stone
walls weren’t covered with lichen; tidy quilt was in a single bed;
swaying candle was hanging from the ceiling; the better one was a
wardrobe which was standing there. ‘No one is going to murder you
here.’ A cold voice came from Lupin’s back. Snape came in with
shut to that door.
‘You hide… me here?’ Lupin looked at him with suspicious.
‘If you say so.’ Snape walked to a blank wall with a swish, and then another hidden door opened. ‘Stay here, I’ll pick the potion for you. And, maybe you need clean clothes.’ Not until Lupin realizes what has happened, he was already vanished from the room.
Lupin lit the hanging candle; then he sat on the bed to think calmly about the things what has happened from last night till today. After Dumbledore’s past-most-trusting man betrayed us, he came to me, even saved me. What the hell it was. Was that one of Voldemort’s plans? Lupin was a little upset when he thought about this. He did the same work what Snape used to do – a spy. But now, Snape betrayed Dumbledore and he can hardly live in the werewolves to work for the Order – Greyback’s men have began to suspect him, for that he had too much wizard smell to be a good actor.
His train of thought was broken off by a smack. Snape pushed the hidden door open with a bowl of potion. ‘Drink it over!’ The reeky potion was handed to his face. All of sudden, this scene reminded the werewolf of the teaching time in Hogwarts. At that time, Sirius has just broken the Azkaban and Snape was still a teacher in the school. Though he was unfriendly as his school time and sometimes he was eaten up with hatred to James, he was still a teacher full of responsibility and as if he hasn’t added the poison to the wolfsbane just for he was James’ friend. But at present time, did the potion is clean? Did…
‘Do the hell you drink it or not?’ Snape said coldly. ‘Don’t think about the past times. And, here’s your gown.’ An old grey gown was thrown beside the werewolf.
The potion expert swaggered away as soon as Lupin took the bowl, set it to his lips.
The werewolf looked at the bowl of potion and then emptied it at one draft. It was such disgusting that the potion was sour. But the flavor has been tasted somewhere before. ‘It is similar to that one which when I still was a student at Hogwarts that Dumbledore asked Slughorn to make. It happened after the full moon night either. After the potion, right, it was just the feeling what I feel right now – the pain of the wounds of my whole body is getting better. Snape saved me for what? Is he up to persuade me to devote to Voldemort?’ The werewolf put on the gown, thinking in the bed.
‘Where’s the bowl?’ Snape came in almost without any sound.
Lupin handed the bowl which was putting at his side. ‘Wait!’ The werewolf said immediately at the opportunity that Snape hasn’t left.
‘The gown is indeed very old, but I believe it is better than yours.’ Snape pulled the bowl from the werewolf’s hand.
‘Severus.’ Lupin said in a most friendly voice.
Snape stopped. ‘I was not fit at first when I heard you called me Snape, but now I adapted that.’
‘No, no, Severus, it’s curious.’ The werewolf stood up from the bed.
‘Not curious. There is something…I can’t say. After you recovered, go on doing your spy work. I’ll cover you from Greyback.’ Snape said with his back facing Lupin. It seemed that his voice subdued exciting.
‘Are you really…’ Not until the werewolf finished, the potion expert in black vanished from the hidden door. There were only the empty feeling and the werewolf’s breathe left in the cell. The light of the candle was swinging liked the werewolf’s vein.
Out of the hidden door, the man in black’s room was there. No one would found out a hidden door was just behind where he was standing unless he was told. Snape put the bowl in the middle of a couple of bowls at his table then he sat on a chair, falling into a trance, staring at the hidden door he has just come out from.
The deep expression was mysterious, worn so much distress and sorrow. Hard work gave him no chance to have the appearance that he should have. Staring at the hidden door, he was keeping his silence.
