Sometimes I just forget the films I have seen. To keep them in memery , I will write down the brief introductions of the films in my blog from now on.  These brief introductions, which are compact , affecting, impressive and powerful, are usually written well. I believe it will help to grasp more words, expressions and idioms.

Based on the novel by W.Somerset Maugham, the Painted Veil is a love story sets in the 1920s that tells the story of a youny english couple,Walter ,a middle class doctor and Kitty, an upper-class woman, who get married for wrong reason and relocate to Shanghai, where she falls in love with someone else. When he uncovered her infidelity, in an act of vengeance, he accepts a job in a remote village in China ravaged by a deadly epidemic, and takes her along. Their journey brings meaning to their relationship and gives them purpose in one of the most remote and beautiful place on earth.
