http://ww4/large/41858d88gw1eyttkbc65dj20ch07jdg6.jpg        Given is a column chart which clearly illustrates the striking differences/contrasts in the mobile-phone subscriptions between developing and developed nations from 2000 to 2008. (分段描述)During the first 7 years, the subscription in developed countries showed just a slight increase, from 0.6 to 0.9 billion, and then it remained stable at 1 billion in 2007 and 2008. By contrast, the number of cell phones subscribed by developing countries ascended moderately between 2000 and 2004, from 0.4 to 1.2 billion, and after that it surged remarkably, reaching the peak at 4 billion in 2008.  (92 words)
Such a scenario can be naturally associated with the speedy advance of mobile phone industries in the world, but what resulted in the differences above? To my understanding, at least two fundamental causes/ reasons can account for this phenomenon. For one thing, developing countries were best characterized by their booming of economy in recent years, which enabled residents there to have additional money for mobile-phone service. A case in point is China. For another, compared with people in developing countries, citizens in developed nations were much wealthier and their population was smaller; therefore, a larger proportion of individuals purchased cell-phones years ago. So, market in developed nations showed a trend of saturation. (88 words)
Accordingly/Thus/Hence/Therefore, it is advisable for mobile-phone manufacturers to focus more eyesight on the market in developing nations. Meanwhile, it is essential for them to work out comprehensive strategies to strengthen markets in developed countries. If they try their utmost to do so, the future of mobile-phone industry will be hopeful and promising. (56 words)
