本文在2013年6月的三篇六级作文中难度较大，主要体现在：1）话语中greed一词给部分考生造成障碍；2）即使部分学生读懂英文的意思，也感觉无从下手，因为话题略微抽象；3）部分考生虽然认识greed为“贪婪”的含义，但写了商人的贪婪，忽略了the earth的概念。

如何避免以上问题，要求各位同学审题阶段必须关注英文提示中的四类词（即：名动形副），也就是本文应写到the earth、satisfy、man、need、greed等内容。

Given is a simple but thought-provoking remark: “Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed.” Obviously, this saying can be naturally associated with the significance of resisting greed: if humans intend to make our world beautiful, it is not advisable for us to have a greedy mind.

In contemporary world, it has become a trend for many countries to explore the nature for their various needs. However, greedy people always find it difficult to satisfy their desire. And our history has been filled with a variety of examples: some factories try their best to make money, ignoring the protection of environment; some individuals chop down forests, ignoring the negative influences of deforestation. Apparently, it is of great significance for us to resist greed. It isresisting greed that enables us to build up a beautiful, sustainable and harmonious life for us and our next generation.

As a youngster, I am convinced that it is of great necessity for us to enhance the sense of sustainable development. Accordingly, we should educate, advocate and encourage our friends, classmates and acquaintances to love, respect and protect our common homeland —the earth. Sparing no efforts to do so, we can witness a hopeful and promising future of human life. (209 words)

在当今世界，许多国家都通过开发自然资源来满足他们的各种需求已经成为一种趋势。然而，贪婪的人类一直无法是他们的欲望得到满足。我们的历史上充满了这样的实例：一些工厂一味赚钱却忽视了对环境的保护；一些人砍伐森林，却忽视了看法森林带来的负面影响。很明显，抵制贪念对我们来说非常重要。抵制贪念是我们能够为我们及我们的后代创造一种美好的、充裕的、和谐的生活。

作为青年人，我确信我们有必要提高可持续发展的意识。因此，我们应该教育，倡导，和鼓励我们的朋友、同学和熟人去爱惜，尊重和保护我们共同的家园—地球。尽力做到这些，我们将会拥有充满希望的生活。
