日本陶笛家宗次郎Sojiro的故事
宗次郎的陶笛历史算是从认识香山久大师开始的。
1975年，栃木山里一个小山谷的小村子，听见了大师的笛音回响在山谷之间，初次听见陶笛感动的瞬间，让他几个月後决定拜大师为师。
在森林里的小木屋，只有一盏油灯，只有两块塌塌米大小的空间，这就是宗次郎陶笛音乐的起点。
1979年移居木县东部的茂木町，开始追求自己的音色、创作自己喜欢的陶笛模型，亲手盖窑，自己烧柴。
1980年移居一所废弃的小学，作为工作室。再度堆砖盖成新的薪窑，开始制作多种类的陶笛。宗次郎制作的陶笛中有许多是只有宗次郎本人才懂的陶笛，有的是只有宗次郎才作的出来的，原因并不纯然是因为制作的步调，而是如何配合土的步调与状态，一步步的去制作笛子的那一份用心。能够用这全心全意制作的陶笛吹出的笛音，只有宗次郎，这是只属於宗次郎的音色，所以能够感动那麽多的人，能够得到许多人的支持，只有宗次郎能吹奏出值得夸耀的陶笛音色。
宗次郎，向来是以发自内心的音乐情感，透过清新悠扬的陶笛乐音，阐述他对於自然万物与山川土地的感怀。他於1985年献出的处女演奏作品，其清新音乐风格马上博得市场的认同与赞赏，93年推出的历史性大碟「木道」、「风人」、「水心」，将大自然循回不息的生命表露无遗，更一举获得日本唱片大奖，奠定他陶笛演奏的不坠地位。
