兴旺庄历史较短，全村都是从定襄董家堰移民来的。

说话还是定襄口音，我分辨不出来，当地人能听出来。

老人八十多了，说他爷爷那辈从窑头（南尧）来的这里。

家乡地少人穷，成群结队跑到这里给地主扛长工，解放时分了地，就把家人接过来了。

于是有了兴旺庄这个小山村。
