冰岛火山灰虽然远在天边，但却强大到可以一下子把英国鬼子David推到了我的面前。
    David上周在香港公干，但火山灰阻止了他按时返回英伦的脚步，所以他提前来北京了。
    他本来是想在五月初来的。
    久矣吾不讲洋话矣。和他用洋文扯了两天淡，还要翻译给周边的同志听，只顾说话了，整得俺老是吃不好饭。
    这个英国顽固蛋子，都什么年代了，还对美国不以为然，对俺说的美式英语里的发音及用词，例如，读dot为“达特”，hot为“哈特”很是不顺耳，甚至管地铁叫subway也算是“boorish”(土包子)！在他们那疙瘩，地铁叫做underground才算是洋得掉渣。
    高兴的是，请他吃火锅，他号称“怕不辣”（I prefer spicy food, no chilli no happy），可吃了一半，鬼子就辣得直用手往嘴巴里煽风！俺观之，颇为take pleasure in his suffering(幸灾乐祸).
    感谢“海底捞”的正宗辣椒，灭了洋鬼子的威风~~
    另外，陪David鬼子看了CBD几乎所有的高档写字楼和公寓，感觉真他NND的贵。这一来，有关租房子的英语俺倒是弄了个门儿清，有需要培训的同学，可提前半年预约：）

    洋鬼子走了，俺乘着他带来的正宗英语风，又应邀翻译了以下短文。

    《一一》是一部很有深度的难得的好片，它展现了人的生命中蓝色的一面，虽然它描写的是一个中国家庭及周遭所发生的事，但它精确地掌握着每一个镜头，把所有人物的每一件事都处理得恰到好处，故事情节简单，内涵深远，美不胜收，没有说教，但已赤裸裸地呈现出中国人的人生哲理。我认为这部电影是一位大师完全掌握支配他的艺术资源的杰出作品，我泪眼模糊地看着片尾字幕，挣扎着去形容那股深深感动我、又扯碎我的力量。是哀伤？喜悦？欢乐？是的，我想都是。不过最大的感受是感激。

    "YiYi" is a minded film that develops the blue profile of human life, and it is really worth seeing. By telling  stories happened in a Chinese family and its neighborhoods, it grasps every scene explicitly to express every episode of every person. This is a plain but highly sophisticated and enriching story, which is fantastic without exemplum, and it also gives us a clear vision about the Chinese philosophy for life. In my opinion, this is a masterpiece created by a great master who deploying all his artistic resources. When reading the closing credits, my eyes were clouded with tears, and I was struggling to figure out  the power that seemed to move me and tear me apart. Was it a kind of sadness, happiness, or gladness? Yes, all, I suppose. But my greatest experience for this film is appreciation.
