All along the road the reddish
purplish, forked, upstanding, twiggy
stuff of bushes and small trees
with dead, brown leaves under them
leafless vines—

路上低矮树丛枝条斜横

Lifeless in appearance, sluggish
dazed spring approaches—

《春天及其他》是美国诗人威廉·卡洛斯·威廉斯所创作的一首现代诗。这首诗描写早春景象，和我们熟悉的传统诗文里柔美、明媚的春天形象不同。诗人笔下的春天，肮脏，杂乱，“没有生气”，“目光昏眩”，并不能给读者带来感官的愉悦。可以说，诗人写的不是已经大肆铺展开的春天，而是包孕着无限生机、无限可能的春天，它不那么甜美、可爱，还残留着冬天的痕迹，而这正是乡野早春的本来面目。
