高考英语命题值得商榷的问题——never...such句式写作疏漏

以下句子为2016全国卷I的短文改错里的句子：
My uncle
says that he never dreams becoming rich in the short period of
time.
此句有2个错误，所给的标准答案为：dreams 后加上of；the改为a。
实际上，这个句子本身写的时候就出现问题，只要具有一般的英语知识的人都知道，这是一个非常常用的英语句型：never ... so
...或者never ... such ...，是最高级的一种表达手段。例如：I have never been so
well-off. （我从来没有这么富裕过。）意思是说：我现在是最富有的时候。
同理，高考试卷里的这个句子也需要用同样的结构表达：My uncle
says that he never dreams of becoming rich in such a short period
of time. 或者：My uncle
says that he never dreams of becoming so rich in a short period of
time. 最佳的表达应该为：My uncle
says that he never dreams of becoming so rich in such a short
period of time.
然而，高考短文改错的句子按照改正后的句子来讲，都没有“走上正轨” ，句子读起来不够顺畅： My
uncle says that he never dreams of becoming rich in a short period
of time.
实属差劲的句子。由此，可以断定，此篇短文改错的文章是命题人自己写的，由于囿于命题人的英文写作水平，确切地说，是命题人的英语语法或句法不过关，而造成的失误或不当。
希望对于国家级的大规模的命题要反复核对，考试中心要安排中国一流的英语专家甚至是来自英美的语言专家进行审定，做到万无一失！
