东山岛中驰生态园全称为“中驰生态旅游文化综合开发项目”，位于东山岛樟塘镇港西村牛犊山。

       据介绍，该项目规划占地面积625亩，计划投资3.4亿元建成入口接待区、梯田花海体验区、林下科研实践区、综合接待中心、礼佛祈福区、养生度假区和热带雨林风情区等7个区，分三期6年实施建设，将打造成四星级乡村旅游景区。目前，该项目已投资4000多万元完成简易盘山道路、梯田花海体验区观景台、钓鱼台、山围塘、礼佛祈福区土地平整等工程建设，正在建设游客服务中心等，今年将完成山林养生度假区木屋、礼佛祈福区寺庙等工程建设。项目建成后，将丰富东山岛的旅游产业内容，弥补目前东山岛旅游品种单一的不足，使东山岛的旅游点多样化，让游客到东山岛来能体验“下海上山、玩水赏花”的乐趣。

       无论是在观景台上还是小“长城”上，环视四周，青山绿树环抱，亭台楼阁相映其中，花海梯田顺着山势依山而建，层层叠叠种植着紫色鼠尾草（不少朋友误以为是薰衣草）、玫瑰、月季、桃花等等花草树木，漫山花草树木，姹紫嫣红，招蜂引蝶，当然还有大家喜欢的火龙果，形成一道色彩斑斓的风景线。不少游客俯身亲吻花香，尽情享受田园生态带给你的视觉享受和清新鲜活的愉悦。

      相信在不久的日子，该项目建成以后，这里将是旅游观光、养生度假好去处，为东山岛的旅游景区增添一个新亮点。

  1、前往东山岛中驰生态园，可以从东山岛疏港公路的高速路口往西埔方向约800米处的港西路口进入，往前行进约1.8公里县道旁左侧有个指示牌，再沿着盘山公路行进约2公里便可以到达中驰生态园停车场。

2、目前盘山公路只是沙土路，路边正在施工，路面比较窄且坡度较大，电动车很难上山，建议乘坐小车或摩托车，当然也可以徒步上山。

3、倡议在景区里爱护环境设施，不要随手乱丢垃圾，随意踩踏花草，更不要肆意采摘花草，做文明游客。
