兰博基尼系列将于 2024 年仅推出混合动力车型，当前车型的剩余生产量已达预期

The days of non-electrified Lamborghinis are gone forever, as the brand enters its plug-in hybrid era. Speaking to the German newspaper WELT, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann confirmed that the last models with pure combustion power from the Sant’Agata factory are sold out until the end of their production.

This is not exactly breaking news, as the remaining production run of the soon-to-be-discontinued Huracan supercar has been sold out since May. None of the Huracan variants – including the Tecnica and the Sterrato – are available for purchase, marking the end of the naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, at least in non-electrified guise.

As reported by Reuters, Winkelman confirmed that the combustion engine models will be replaced by PHEVs in 2024 and 2025, most likely referring to the successors of the Urus and the Huracan respectively.

The Urus SUV is Lamborghini’s most popular model and greatest sales hit. Despite being introduced in 2022, the Urus S and Urus Performante with the 657 hp (490 kW / 666 PS) 4.0-liter V8 are no longer available due to high demand. This means that interested parties have to wait for the facelifted version which will arrive in 2024 exclusively offered with a plug-in hybrid V8. Note that the next-gen Urus has already been announced for 2029 as a fully electric model.

Lamborghini is famous for its long waiting lists and keeps breaking production and sales records one after the other. Even the all-new Revuelto flagship with the plug-in hybrid V12 has been sold out by the end of 2025, showing that the world can’t get enough of Sant’Agata bulls, either in ICE-only or electrified forms.
