Festival. The festival, which
falls on

15th of the first month in the Chinese lunar
calendar, marks
the end of more than two weeks of the Chnese New
Year celebrations each year.

amomg the many popular traditional activities for the
festival,which include
eating Tangyuan,enjoying

ful moon, and being
lost in
colorful lighted lanterns.These guessing
games
are referreed to as latern
riddles because they involve riddles
written on lanterns or on slips of
paper attached
to lanterns. They often contain messages of great wisdom and good
fortune and gives children and others of all ages the opportunity

cities,and other places in China.People must guess the

by
thinking about the various meanings of the words and
phrases that
