5月考试范文

分类: 高考英语专项训练

Dear Sir or Madam,

I'm Li Hua, a Senior Two student. I have read your advertisement for volunteers of the Sino-American Youth Ambassadors Online Program. I'm writing to apply for participation in this activity.

I consider myself a qualified candidate for the several reasons. First of all, a good command of English will make it possible for me to communicate with foreign members fluently. Besides,  I'm an outgoing person and have rich experience in voluntary jobs, which can help get along well with American friends in the program.

I would appreciate it if you could consider my application and accept me as a member of the program. Looking forward to your early reply.

                                                                                                                     Yours

                                                                                                                    Li Hua

7. 升华(care, love,后者a little action can make a big difference等也可以)

After knowing everything about Carl, my Mom talked to me her way to solve this problem. She thought there was no need to punish Carl and what Carl needed was nothing more than a friend. Mom said that she would put two desserts in my lunch bag—one for me and the other for Carl. Then I put my lunch bag in its usual place and I said nothing to Carl. But one day, he asked me, “Why are there always two desserts in your lunch bag?” I explained to him that my Mom put one in my lunch bag for me and the other for him.

Carl was touched and asked me if he could visit my house and thank my mother. I told him I would ask my mother about it. Then one day with my Mom’s invitation, I took Carl to my home. My Mom prepared a lot of delicious snacks for us and treated Carl as my good friend. When leaving, he apologized sincerely to me with shame for once taking away my desserts, explained why he did it and expressed his hope that he wanted to be my friend. After that, Carl never fought with others at school and often came to my home, playing and studying together with me. Because of my Mom’s example, I learned a lifelong lesson about how to show proper care to others.
