现在进行时有时可表示一个经常性动作，这时都表现某类情绪

1）You’re always leaving your clothes on the floor! 你老把衣服扔在地上！（责备）

2）My father is always losing his car keys. 我爸老丢车钥匙。 （不满）

3)She is always thinking of her work.她老想到她的工作。（赞许）

4)He is always boasting. 他老爱说大话。 （厌恶）

5)Our vicar is always raising money for one cause or another but he has never managed to get enough money to have the church clock repaired.（不满）

这类句子常带有always, constantly, forever, continually, perpetually 这类副词，显出强调或夸张的意思。如果改成一般现在时，就只是说明事实，而不表示情绪。
