1、诗中的八个“半”字堪称一绝，翻译时即可照顾字面，也可取其深意。
2、努力将诗中传达的朦胧意境表现出来，注意诗中的动词。这真是活脱脱的一幅若隐若现的江南美景图。
3、译文尽量做到压韵，可压头韵，也可压尾韵（AABB，ABAB，或一韵到底皆可）。

Mei Dingzuo (The Ming Dynasty)

Half a circle of mist caresses the waterside emerald green willows,

Half a puff of breeze interweaving with rains invigorates the flowers.

Several fisherboats plow against the waves, half floating and half sinking,

Some folk houses dot both banks, half hiding and half appearing.

Water village

Mei Dingzuo (The Ming Dynasty)

Willows sway in the misty village of water，

Flowers fall in gentle breeze and fine rain，

Fisherboats float up and down on the river ，

Only faint shadows of the huts could be seen .
译文三：

flowers are beat by penetrating rain
  before a lamentable blast
half sunken fishing boat is floating dim
  on a torpid river
half comprehended fishermen is captured

译文四：

Dipping in the water and embraced in the haze, the willows are swaying

Somewhat by the wind and somewhat by the rain, the flowers begins to open

Half submerged in and half afloat above the water, a fishing boat is pitching

Partly hidden in the trees and partly visible, a hut appears in the mountain
