Free talk.
通过生活中熟悉的场景,导入到参观动物园这一主题。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Road signs.
Today the tour guide is going to lead the students to Sunshine Zoo. To help the students learn more about the zoo, she is showing them some road signs now.
What does this sign mean? What about this one? What should you do when you see this sign?
在阅读课文前,了解路标的含义,为后面的教学做铺垫。
What does the panda look like?
Learn the new words: panda, cute.
What are the animals in the picture?
What do you think of lions?
Learn the new words: king, dangerous.
What is the animal doing?
What do you think of the animal?
Learn the new word: sound.
What is special about this animal?
What do they eat?
Learn the new words: giraffe, neck, leaf.
What do its ears look like?
结合图片,让学生初步了解课文涉及的动物,并学习部分新词。
Step 3 While-reading
1. Fast reading.
通过快速阅读,让学生大致了解课文内容。
2. Intensive reading.
Watch the video and answer the following questions.
How can we get there?
Where is it?
What do you thinks of monkeys? Fill in the blanks.
Are there any other animals to see? What are they? Listen to the tour guide’s introduction and find the answers.
Read the paragraph and mark where these two animals are on the map.
通过听、读等形式,将文章中所涉及的各个动物的地理位置、样貌特点等梳理清楚,让学生基本了解文章的主要内容。
Step 4 Post-reading
1. True or false questions.
Read the whole passage again and tell if the statements about the zoo are right or not.
2. Complete the conversation.
3. Be a tour guide.

课后巩固本节课所学的阅读策略。
三、结论
在这节课中,首先以猜动物游戏导入,极大地激发了学生的兴趣,活跃了课堂气氛。以“导游视角下的动物园之旅”这条主线贯穿本节课的三个学习板块:认识动物,寻找动物和保护动物。通过设计一系列课堂活动让学生在听、说、读、看等语言技能上得到训练,既有基于语篇的学习理解类活动,也有深入语篇的应用实践类活动,以及迁移和创新类活动,让学生通过小组学习、合作探究并结合常识和生活体验,从而对“动物保护”这一永恒话题有了更新更深的认识,完成了从文本语篇到文本外知识迁移的过渡和跨越。这节课不仅让孩子们学会了课本上的知识,还让孩子们有了课本以外的情感收获,课堂最后用“保护动物”作结尾,能够很好地唤起孩子们热爱环境,保护动物的感情。
四、感想
人生的方向因人而异,各有不同。找准方向是让我们根据自己的实际情况,确定一个合理的目标,而不是不切实际的空想。找准方向我们才能在生命的征程中,沿着轨迹稳步向前行;找准方向,我们才能用一生的力量实现最大的梦想。因此,在日常的英语教学中,我们就应该鼓励学生确立胃正确的方向后,要始终不渝地朝着这个方向努力,做到审时度势,因势利导,胜不骄,败不馁,终究会品尝到胜利的甘甜的,人生也会得到升华。
