Unit 6  Winter Vacation

教材分析：

这节课是第六单元的第一课时，本单元是以“winter vacation” 为话题而展开，在这一课时主要以winter vacation plan 做为主要内容，学习重点单词和句子，带领学生一起讨论自己的冬日假期计划。

教学目标：

1、能够听懂、会说以下单词：dumpling, fan，并尝试借助拼读规律记忆单词。 

2、能够听懂、会说用来询问对方计划和打算的功能句：What are you going to do? 并通过回答该问题操练本单元的主要词汇。 

3、能够根据实际情况填写自己的寒假计划和打算。

重难点：

1、学会使用what do you usually do? what are you going to do? I am going to do sth .

2、在实际生活中运用所学知识进行交流。

教学过程：

Step1  Warm-up

Free talk

Talk about ‘What do you do on your holidays ?’

Step2  Presentation

1、Get ready

(1)   Teacher shows pictures about Binbin and winter vacation.

Let students know What’s winter vacation.

(2) T shows Ss see the picture about Get Ready and asks Ss questions .

—Binbin is making a plan for his winter vacation. What will he do?

2、Listen and write.

(1) Ss listen to the tape and fill in the table .

(2) Ss see the dialogue and listen the tape again .Then check it together.

(3) Ss listen the tape last time and read it.

(4) Ss answer the question :

—What is Binbin going to do  in January/February ?

(5) Ss learn the new words : fan  dumpling

3、Let’s talk

(1) Ss read let’s talk the T teach grammar

(2) Ss fill in the table about their winter vacation plan

e.g. ：go to skating classes— go to dancing classes，learn to make dumplings—learn to make paper cuttings

and so on

Step 3 Consolidation

1、2 Ss a group talk with each other

  -- What are you going to do in your winter vacation?

-- I’m going to …  .

2、Let’s write

（1）Ss write the sentences after—In this winter vacation, I am going to

1、Make a holiday plan .
