画者作为一个有思想的人，尤其在绘画史的后印象派塞尚、高更、梵高诸君之后；在毕加索立体主义、马蒂斯野兽派、蒙德里安冷抽象、德库宁热抽象等等发生之后；画者除了学习，更应该思考和探索于绘画艺术的自主性 。画者应该是独立的个体，绘画是独立个体对生活和经验的勇敢表达。

As a thinking being, painters should ponder on and explore the subjectivity of painting art apart from learning painting techniques, especially after the Post- Impressionism of Cé zanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh ; and after the Cubism of Picasso, the Fauvism of Matisse, the Cold Abstraction of Mondriaan, the Hot Abstraction of De Kooning and so on in art history. Painters ought to be individuals who employ their paintings to express life and experiences bravely.
