PEP五下Unit 5 Whose dog is it?

Part A Let’s Learn

Teaching aims:

1Knowledge and ability aims:

(1): Be able to understand and say the words: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs.

(2):Know the difference between mine/my, yours/your, his/his, hers/her, ours/our, theirs/their.

(3):Be able to understand and say the sentence in daily life: It’s your dog. The dog is yours.

2Emotional aims:

(1): Learn to express ideas simply and briefly.

(2): Learn to put away things and when you pick up some things, give them back to others.

 

Teaching important points:

(1) Sentence: It’s your dog. The dog is yours.

(2) Words: yours, his, hers, their, mine, ours.

Teaching difficult points:

(1):Know the difference between mine/my, yours/your, his/his, hers/her, ours/our, theirs/their.

(2): Be able to understand and say the sentence in daily life: It’s your dog. The dog is yours.

Teaching aids:

Word cards , computer

Teaching reflection: 

    Although the new words are easy for students to read and learn , it’s very difficult to distinguish the difference between Nominal Possessive Pronouns and Adjective Possessive Pronouns, especially when they use them in real life. I think it’s necessary for me to provide more activities for students to practice them.
