廿载兴居桑梓趣，晨昏日钓守双阳。
春秋放眼江湖水，冬夏擎竿芰藕塘。
鸟唱虫鸣千树簇，凄风苦雨万斑霜。
蚊叮日晒迟相顾，挂饵抛钩瞅鳔忙。
Don’t
Confuse
I often read and listen English materialsin the morning,
then write down some words I have forgotten and not known onthe
paper, so that later on I can review
them.
After breakfast I go out for walking or forwork in the
unit. Then I often write some Chinese characters. Yes my
Chinesehandwriting is scratchy and sprawling so much that I can not
recognize them ina few minutes.
But my English calligraphy is much more excellentthan
anyone else around the world. Now I don’t want to tell you may
chirographyis how or somewhat good or bad. I merely tell you a
story happened owing to me.
Other days I went to the activity room in thecommunity for
table tennis. There are four desks in the same room, so the
ballssometimes fall down on the ground at the same time, then you
should pick themup and return one of the two to the owner, but the
balls are the same brand,you can not easily distinguish the
difference at once, thus it is hard to avoidfor you to return it
wrong.
So take my advice, next time you shouldpick up the other’s
then your own one. So that the two balls don’t confuse the
roommateand yourself.
Now let me give extended application of thestory: Don’t
tie you shoelaces in the melon fields, and not to take off yourcap
under a plum tree. English is English, Chinese is Chinese. They are
bothlanguages, not to be mixed up. National culture is different
between you and aforeigner. So we must keep our own quintessence of
Chinese culture to give priorityto develop.
