羹匙点酒今欢浅,两鬓花白不少年。

不胜昔时红友力:晨昏续盏午接沾。

鹅毛大雪浑天舞,满地梨花白玉珠。

厚重春衣如羽暖,冰底沿水岸边出。

雾气蒸空碎雪绒,羽烟斗转暮霾浓。

Do you know differences between the words “advise” and “advice”? Yes, they are the same meaning in Chinese characters with different spellings and parts of speech. They two have somewhat different usages.

The noun form of the word, “advice”, is written with the letter c, which is said like /s/. But the verb “advise” is written with the letter s, which is pronounced like /z/.

Now look at sentences with these words, first starting with the verb advise.

It’s the cabinet’s job to advise the president; Nutrition experts advise that we eat five servings of fruit and vegetables every day.

Next let’s explore the noun:

People often look on the internet for medical advice before visiting a doctor; My brother gave me good advice: finish my homework then go to bed.

We may have seen others pairs of words in English that work the same way as “advise” and “advice”.

Some examples are the pairs devise and device, appease and peace, prophesy and prophecy. Two other words, license and practice, are written differently in British English, but they no longer have different spellings in American English.

So take my advice, listen carefully to the sentence when you hear the word or look at the sentence around it when you read it. So you will know if it is a verb or a noun, and you will know the meaningful usage, too.

The above content I told you, you have my word that I have read some books and abstracted. I make a promise that I will not copy the whole article for pay or other anything valuable. See you, get back to you in twenty hours or so, keep up good work!
