这套双CD专辑是塞戈维亚1927-1939年在HMV的录音精选。

HMV是一间连锁唱片店，源自英国，在世界多个国家设有分店。HMV原名His Master's Voice，HMV是简称，来自它的“小狗 Nipper 听留声机”商标。Nipper是一只生于英国布里斯托的猎狐爹利，主人死后，被送给他身为艺术家的弟弟Francis Barraud。Barraud在Nipper死后三年画了一幅画，描绘它听着留声机内已故主人录音的专注神态，并把画命名为His Master's Voice。此画后来被生产留声机的公司Gramophone Company买下作商标。HMV原本是生产留声机，及发行音乐唱片，后来不再生产留声机，改为唱片零售。
