元代赵孟頫书法长卷《洛神赋》，书于1308年前后。纸本，行书，纵29cm，横220.9cm。北京故宫博物院藏。全卷共80行，末署款“子昂”。后纸元员峤山人（李倜），明高启，清王铎、曹溶题跋。前隔水王铎“戊子五月”又题。

行书《洛神赋》是赵孟頫书风鲜明的代表作之一。文章的作者是曹植，他以神话中关于宓妃的情节，通过联想，塑造了洛神这个美女形象，表达自己的爱慕之情，文笔柔美清新。赵孟頫以同样柔美、圆润的笔墨作书，如合符契。

《洛神赋》是赵孟頫47岁时创作的。这篇赋共900余字，以小字行书轻松写来，风流飘逸，有晋人风采，展示了赵孟頫对王羲之书法的心领神会。赵孟頫是为世人公认的集王羲之书法之大成的书家，这篇《洛神赋》浸润了《兰亭序》的韵致并且有所发展。我们可以从几个方面来欣赏。

首先是用笔的极其熟练，使转圆活流畅。赵孟頫运用弧线时的机灵和敏锐，使线条流动准确到位，似乎就是滑了过去，恰到好处，停住。这时，弧形的大圆川、圆、大转、小转在不断地运动中承起、错开、钩连，化尖锐、方折为圆转，使通篇尽在圆融之中，和美浑穆。赵书比王书更多了一层丰腴，更多了一种富贵气，“清秀”喻之似不恰当，可称为“清润”吧。

其次是《洛神》中提按的分明，形成了欣赏视觉不断调节的美感。提按的交替敏感而鲜明，有的笔画沉重而稳当，有的则如流星轻轻划过，重不刻板，轻不飘忽。

文中“之”字之多胜于《兰亭序》，也都在赵孟頫机智的调节中各见异趣。这使《洛神赋》处于空、实的变动之中，并不因字数多而拥挤淤塞。清人周济说得好：“空则灵气往来，既成格调。求实，实则精力弥满。”

《洛神赋》还表现了赵孟頫的精心。精心是赵孟颊非常突出的一个优点，再多的字，再大的篇幅，精心从头至尾毫无闪失。据说赵孟頫有一日书字一万的本领，他的精力、笔力远远超过一般书家，只要一提笔，情意尽至，笔墨无懈。

这也是《洛神赋》字字珠玑，精美绝伦的原因着力于精美的赵孟頫，有其心，亦有其熟练的技巧，就使《洛神赋》十分圆熟。圆熟是一种美感但也定下了一个模式，很完整、固定。赵孟頫书法很少有率真、随意之笔，似乎笔一提起必定要达到珠圆玉润。《洛神赋》是这种创作观念的代表，如果创作情绪不那么绷紧，多一些意笔，这件作品就更有意想不到的趣味了。

《洛神赋》是朝着纯美的方向发展的，它的形式最适宜社会最普泛人群的欣赏，雍容大方，丰美遒丽。同时，它又为书坛中人所激赏，钦佩其高超的技巧，禁得起反复的推敲，就像一篇编织得十分严密和完整的故事，情节耐品，毫无破绽。元人虞集在《道园学古录》中就赞赏道：“赵松雪书笔既流利，学亦渊深，观其书，得心应手，会意成文。……可谓书之兼学力天资，精奥神化而不可及矣。”

完美的用笔、结体、章法，使《洛神赋》自元代以来一直为人效仿，它的魅力使欣赏者的想象力自由地飞翔，内心因此而欣喜、欢快，为美所充满。《洛神赋》和其他优秀的书法作品一样，具有超时代、超民族的普遍性的美学特质，因此生命力长久。

故后纸诸家题跋如是评述此卷，李倜曰：“大令好写洛神赋，人间合有数本，惜乎未见其全。此松雪书无一笔不合法，盖以兰亭肥本运腕而出之者，可云买王得羊矣。”高启云：“赵魏公行草写洛神赋，其法虽出入王氏父子间，然肆笔自得，则别有天趣，故其体势逸发，真如见矫若游龙之入于烟雾中也。

此卷《洛神赋》为赵孟頫行书代表作。行中兼楷的结体、点画，深得二王遗意，尤其是王献之《洛神赋》的神韵，即妍美洒脱之风致。如端正匀称的结构、优美潇洒的字姿、圆润灵秀的运笔、密中有疏的布局等；同时，又呈现自身的追求，象比较丰腴的点画，轻捷的连笔，飘逸中见内敛的运锋，端美中具俯仰起伏的气势，都显示出他博取众长而自成一体的艺术特色。
